Artworks from a new series “Beauties on Their Journeys”

The collection of semi-abstract paintings by Evgeniya Zolotareva, which has been “maturing” for three full years, captures the atmosphere of the sea, sails and light at the very moment when reality transforms into feeling. Motifs of boats, wind and the water’s surface are only gently suggested — dissolving into delicate layers of turquoise, blue, beige, pink and white.

The artist works with the contrast between stillness and movement: fragile sails merge with energetic brushstrokes, splashes of colour and translucent surfaces that evoke sea foam, a distant horizon and the ever-changing light above the water. The paintings do not appear as specific maritime scenes, but rather as memories of a journey, freedom, wind and the quiet joy of open space.

The entire collection has a light, airy and optimistic character. It brings freshness, subtle colour and a sense of an open horizon into an interior — as if, for a brief moment, the sea had opened up before the viewer.

Kolekce semi-abstraktních obrazů Evgenii Zolotarevy, která “zrala” cele 3 roky, zachycuje atmosféru moře, plachet a světla v okamžiku, kdy se realita mění v pocit. Motivy lodí, větru a vodní hladiny jsou zde jen naznačené — rozplývají se v jemných vrstvách tyrkysové, modré, béžové, růžové a bílé.

Autorka pracuje s kontrastem klidu a pohybu: křehké plachty se prolínají s energickými tahy, stříkanci barvy a průsvitnými plochami, které připomínají mořskou pěnu, vzdálený horizont i proměnlivé světlo nad vodou. Obrazy nepůsobí jako konkrétní námořní scenérie, ale spíše jako vzpomínka na cestu, volnost, vítr a tichou radost z prostoru.
